The Brief

Ecotan is a Vietnamese organic farm expanding into the natural skincare and essential oils market. They needed a complete brand identity and packaging system that authentically reflected their farm-to-bottle philosophy and commitment to zero-waste production — while standing out on retail shelves alongside established cosmetic brands.

Our Approach

  • Brand identity development — Created a circular brand mark symbolizing the farm's natural harvest cycles, supported by an earthy color palette and hand-drawn botanical illustrations that feel genuine rather than generic.
  • Sustainable material sourcing — Researched and specified eco-friendly production materials including recycled kraft paper, soy-based inks, and biodegradable protective films — with detailed sourcing guides for the client's production team.
  • Packaging architecture — Designed a modular packaging system across product lines (skincare jars, essential oil bottles, gift sets, shipping boxes) with standardized die-cut templates that reduce material waste during production.
  • Brand guidelines — Documented comprehensive visual standards covering typography, color usage, photography direction, and packaging specifications to ensure consistency as the product line grows.

The Outcome

The completed brand system gave Ecotan a distinctive market presence that communicates their organic credentials at every touchpoint — from product packaging to e-commerce visuals. The sustainable packaging approach reduced material waste in production while creating a premium unboxing experience that reinforces the brand's environmental values with every purchase.
